I would highly recommend the City2Surf race! It is fitting for runners of all ages and levels. It is a wonderful way to get to see many areas of Sydney and then make it to the beach! As it is the largest annual race in Australia (with around 80,000 people), there is plenty of entertainment along the way that is super motivating for the run. Also, there are many safety precautions along the way with multiple drinking stations,  first aid stations, etc. to ensure the best for everyone. The Expo occurs a few days earlier than the race, and there are plenty of samples, vendors, and merchandise available. At the end of it all, you end up at a huge party on Bondi Beach! I have included a few pictures below of me at the Expo, me at the end, some of the views during the run, as well as some local meditators along the route.
